Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped height attribute
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Stored XSS in Willington Vega JSFiddle Shortcode before 1.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through shortcode attributes. The jsfiddle shortcode renders the height attribute into iframe markup without validation or output escaping, so a crafted quote can add an event handler. Contributor access is required to save the shortcode, and the script executes when a user views and interacts with the affected page.
