Arbitrary file read via downloader path traversal
Published Nov 23, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Path traversal in FWDesign MP3 Sticky Player 8.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files without authentication. The content/downloader.php endpoint processes an attacker-controlled file path without confining resolution to an intended directory. Reachability requires only network access to the exposed endpoint; successful exploitation discloses arbitrary files readable by the web server process.
