Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized POST parameter
Published Nov 4, 2024 · Updated Nov 5, 2024
SQL injection in Codezips Hospital Appointment System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read and alter database data via a crafted POST request. The demonstrated /doctorAction.php request injects the POST Name value into a MySQL query without validation, enabling boolean-, error-, and time-based query manipulation. No login is required, so endpoint exposure permits database reads and data changes within the web application's database-account privileges.
