CVE-2024-10773Network attack vector

Unauthenticated device takeover via reusable hidden-account hashes

Published Dec 6, 2024 · Updated Dec 9, 2024

Authentication bypass in SICK InspectorP61x and InspectorP62x before 5.0.0 and TiM3xx before 5.10.0 allows remote attackers full access. Hidden user levels 5 through 7 use reusable values stored in password.prm: a four-byte legacy login value or a password-derived challenge-response hash. Network access and a hash extracted from one device are sufficient to authenticate to other affected devices without knowing a password.
