Reflected script injection via nonce-free settings update
Published Nov 21, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Friendly Functions for Welcart 1.2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject web scripts. The settings-update path in ffw_function_settings.php accepts a forged administrator request without validating a WordPress nonce and reflects attacker-controlled script content. An administrator must be signed in and induced to follow a crafted link, after which the injected script runs in that administrator's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
