Stored XSS via unescaped NAT destination
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
Stored XSS in phpIPAM before 1.7.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in another user's browser via a crafted NAT destination. Database query methods returned stored strings, including NAT destination data, for direct printing without HTML entity encoding; the corrective commit applies htmlentities to string results by default. An authenticated user must save the destination and another user must view it, after which the script can read data available to that browser session.
