CVE-2024-10723Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored XSS via unescaped NAT destination

Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025

Stored XSS in phpIPAM before 1.7.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser via a NAT destination. The NAT destination is stored in the database, then returned and printed without HTML entity encoding; the patch applies htmlentities to database strings before display. Low-privileged write access and interaction by another logged-in user are required, exposing session cookies or permitting actions in the victim's account context.
