Stored XSS via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published Nov 25, 2024 · Updated Jan 9, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in YaDisk Files 1.2.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject script through shortcode attributes. The shortcode renderer returns attribute values into page or post output without validating them or applying context-appropriate escaping. Contributor-level access is required to save the crafted shortcode, and the script executes when another user views the resulting content.
