Administrator file disclosure via unvalidated viewer paths
Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Dec 10, 2024
Path traversal in qriouslad System Dashboard before 2.8.15 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files. The sd_viewer AJAX action accepts a filename path without validation or confinement, so traversal sequences escape the intended location. Administrator-level WordPress access is required, and successful requests disclose file contents without altering them.
