Arbitrary file read via crafted JSON upload
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025
Path traversal in GaiZhenbiao ChuanhuChatGPT git d4ec6a3 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files through JSON upload. The handle_dataset_selection function passes a crafted upload through Gradio's gr.JSON component without adequately restricting attacker-controlled file paths. The CNA description says authentication is not required, although its CVSS vector assigns low privileges; successful exploitation exposes file contents without write access.
