Contributor-level post disclosure via unchecked shortcode ID
Published Nov 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Information exposure in FuturioWP Futurio Extra 2.0.13 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read private or draft Elementor posts. The elementor-template shortcode accepts a caller-controlled post ID and renders the referenced Elementor content without checking its publication status or the caller's access. Contributor-level access is sufficient to embed the shortcode and disclose restricted post content; no write or service-interruption impact is reported.
