Authenticated post disclosure via unchecked shortcode ID
Published Dec 14, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Information disclosure in RSTheme Shortcodes for Elementor 1.0.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read private posts. The SHORTCODE_ELEMENTOR handler accepts an attacker-controlled post ID and renders the referenced Elementor post without checking its publication status or the caller's permission to view it. Contributor-level access is required, and exposure is limited to content from private, draft, or password-protected Elementor posts.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
