Restricted post disclosure via unchecked shortcode key
Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Information exposure in Easy Feeds for X/Twitter 1.2.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read restricted WordPress posts. The [etf] shortcode accepts an attacker-controlled post key and renders the selected post without enforcing password, private, or draft access restrictions. Contributor-level access or higher is required, and the consequence is limited to reading posts that the account cannot otherwise access.
