Service interruption via malformed Host header
Published Feb 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
Host header injection in Crafty Controller 4.0.0 through 4.2.2 allows remote attackers to interrupt the service via a crafted Host header. The HTTP handler invokes HTTPHandlerPage.get with an unexpected positional argument, repeatedly raising a TypeError while the process remains running. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the observed result is an unresponsive web interface rather than data access or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
