Settings reset via missing nonce validation
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Nokaut Offers Box 1.4.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to reset plugin settings via a forged request. An administrative settings handler accepts a state-changing reset request without valid WordPress nonce verification. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link, and the documented consequence is limited to resetting the plugin configuration.
