Unauthenticated SQL injection via raw id interpolation
Published Jan 26, 2025 · Updated Apr 3, 2025
SQL injection in AYS Pro Quiz Maker Business, Developer, and Agency plugins allows remote attackers to read database data via id. The unauthenticated ays_questions_statistics_export AJAX handler interpolates the request's id value into a SELECT query, then uses returned identifiers in further SQL queries without preparation. The wp_ajax_nopriv hook exposes the handler without an account in Business 7.0.0 through 8.8.0, Developer 20.0.0 through 21.8.0, and Agency 30.0.0 through 31.8.0; the demonstrated consequence is sensitive database disclosure.
