Unauthenticated file deletion via unchecked deletion path
Published Nov 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Path traversal in Vanquish WooCommerce Support Ticket System 17.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary server files. The delete_tmp_uploaded_file() function deletes the file resolved from an attacker-controlled path without adequately constraining that path. No authentication or user interaction is required; deleting a critical file such as wp-config.php can interrupt the site and enable remote code execution.
