Authenticated SQL injection via document-deletion handlers
Published Oct 31, 2024 · Updated Nov 1, 2024
SQL injection in CDG 5 allows remote authenticated users to execute unintended database queries through document-deletion requests. The delFile and delDifferCourseList methods in PublicDocInfoAjax.java incorporate attacker-controlled deletion values into SQL processing without neutralizing SQL syntax. A valid low-privilege session is required, and successful exploitation reads or modifies data accessible to the application's database account.
