Published Nov 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Mapster WP Maps 1.6.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through popup class values. The popup class parameter is stored without sufficient sanitization and later emitted into map pages without context-appropriate output escaping. Contributor-level access is required, and injected scripts execute when an affected page is accessed.
