CVE-2024-10581Network attack vector

Listing status changes via missing nonce validation

Published Feb 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Cross-site request forgery in DirectoryPress Frontend 2.7.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to change listing statuses after administrator interaction. The dpfl_listingStatusChange() function accepts a status-change request without correctly validating a WordPress nonce that binds the action to the administrator's session. Exploitation requires an administrator to act on a crafted link or equivalent request, after which the targeted listing's publication state can be altered.
