Stored script execution via unsanitized header description
Published Mar 25, 2025 · Updated Mar 25, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Form Maker by 10Web before 1.15.30 allows remote authenticated users to run script in visitors' browsers. The Form Header Description setting accepts an HTML event-handler payload without sanitizing it and renders the stored value when a post embedding the form is previewed. Administrator-level access is required, and exploitation remains possible when unfiltered_html is disabled, including on WordPress multisite installations.
