Contributor-level stored XSS via globally relaxed sanitization
Published Aug 29, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in FunnelKit Funnel Builder Pro 3.4.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into WordPress posts. The allow_iframe_tag_in_post function uses wp_kses_allowed_html to allow script and iframe elements globally instead of constraining them to FunnelKit content. Contributor access is sufficient to persist code that executes when another user opens the injected page, exposing that user's browser session to script actions.
