Cleartext credential storage in TP-Link Tapo H100 firmware before 1.5.22 allows physically proximate attackers to read stored Wi-Fi credentials. The device firmware persists the hub's wireless network credentials as plaintext, leaving them readable in extracted binary data. Exploitation requires physical possession and firmware extraction, after which binary analysis discloses the configured network credentials.
