Stored XSS via unescaped product file names
Published Dec 12, 2024 · Updated Dec 12, 2024
Stored XSS in ProfilePress before 4.15.15 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute script in an admin browser. The Membership Plan Product Files Name field accepts an attribute-breaking value and renders it without context-appropriate escaping. An administrator must save the crafted name and a user must move the pointer over it after reload, executing script in that user's browser.
