Stored XSS via unsanitized form labels
Published Dec 12, 2024 · Updated Dec 12, 2024
Stored XSS in ProfilePress before 4.15.15 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute script via form labels. The Drag & Drop Builder stores a crafted User Login Label without sanitization or output escaping, and the payload executes when the form shortcode renders. Administrator privileges are required to save the payload, and another user must view the rendered form for script execution in that user's browser.
