Unauthenticated PHP execution via traversable template path
Published Dec 6, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Local PHP file inclusion in SWTE Group Ltd. Swift Performance Lite 2.3.7.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute server-side PHP. The unauthenticated swift_performance_ajaxify AJAX action decodes attacker-controlled data and uses its template-part path to load a PHP file without restricting traversal outside approved template directories. No WordPress account is required, but code execution requires a suitable local PHP file, such as an uploaded file, that the endpoint can include.
