Stored XSS via unescaped Lightbox caption
Published Nov 28, 2024 · Updated Nov 29, 2024
Stored XSS in BdThemes Element Pack Addons for Elementor before 5.10.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in visitors' browsers. The Lightbox block stores its Content Caption option without adequate validation or output escaping, then inserts that value into a page or post when the image is opened. Contributor-level access is required to edit the Elementor post, and a visitor must view the post and click the generated image to trigger the script.
