Stored XSS via unescaped Team block attributes
Published Dec 3, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in the Team block in Spectra Legacy 2.16.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject web scripts. The Team block renderer accepts user-supplied block attributes without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping and stores the resulting markup in a page. Contributor-level access is required, and the script executes in a visitor's browser when the affected page is viewed, permitting content manipulation and data access in that browser context.
