Stored XSS via unchecked SVG uploads
Published Nov 21, 2024 · Updated Nov 21, 2024
Stored XSS in Tiny Solutions Media Library Tools before 1.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through SVG uploads. When SVG support is enabled, the upload path performs no sanitization or further checks on SVG content, leaving embedded script elements intact. Author-level access is required, and the payload executes in the site's origin when another user views the uploaded file.
