Unauthorized API actions via missing origin validation
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025
CSRF in ComfyUI 0.2.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to issue API requests when a user visits a malicious website. The aiohttp server exposes state-changing /upload/image, /prompt, and /history handlers without validating the browser's Origin against Host. A user must visit attacker-controlled content while ComfyUI is browser-reachable; requests can upload files, queue workflows, or alter history.
