Settings modification via missing CSRF validation
Published Dec 6, 2024 · Updated Dec 6, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in WP3DPrinting 3DPrint Lite before 2.1 allows remote attackers to alter plugin settings via a crafted form. The administrative settings endpoint accepts attacker-supplied p3dlite_settings values with action=update without validating a CSRF token or request origin. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open the attacker-controlled HTML page, after which the submitted values modify the plugin configuration.
