Cross-origin permission leak via lost feature-policy metadata

Permission leakage in Mozilla Firefox, Firefox ESR, and Thunderbird allows remote attackers to inherit a trusted site's device permissions. When an object or embed load is upgraded to a document load, the browser fails to transfer feature-policy metadata, so cross-origin content is evaluated with the top origin's permissions. Exploitation requires a trusted page with granted camera, microphone, or geolocation access to embed attacker-controlled content; Thunderbird email reading disables scripting, limiting exposure to browser-like contexts.
