Unauthenticated code execution via _gExtraInfo deserialization
Published Oct 30, 2024 · Updated Oct 30, 2024
Deserialization in Delta Electronics InfraSuite Device Master 1.0.12 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code before authentication. The Device-Gateway fails to validate user-controlled data in the _gExtraInfo attribute before deserializing arbitrary .NET objects. A network-reachable service is sufficient, and successful exploitation runs code in an administrator context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
