CVE-2024-10451Network attack vector

Secret disclosure via persisted runtime configuration defaults

Published Nov 25, 2024 · Updated Aug 31, 2026

Information disclosure in Red Hat build of Keycloak before 24.0.9 and 25.0.0 through 26.0.5 allows remote attackers to read build-time secrets. During augmentation, PropertyMappers.getValue unconditionally resolves runtime kc, SPI, and Quarkus settings, causing Quarkus to persist their values as bytecode defaults. Exposure requires sensitive runtime settings to be present during a build and is limited to disclosure from the resulting production image.
