Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized Username query
Published Oct 28, 2024 · Updated Oct 28, 2024
SQL injection in Codezips Hospital Appointment System 1.0 allows remote attackers to access the database through the Username login field. loginAction.php inserts the POST Username value directly into a MySQL query without sanitization or parameter binding, enabling crafted SQL expressions. No authentication is required; demonstrated boolean-, error-, and time-based payloads can disclose or alter database data and interrupt service.
