Authenticated SQL injection via profile name update
Published Oct 28, 2024 · Updated Oct 28, 2024
SQL injection in Project Worlds Online Time Table Generator 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter a MySQL query via a profile update. The staff dashboard incorporates multipart field n into the update statement, letting a quote, WHERE clause, subquery, and SLEEP call change its execution. A staff account is required; the demonstrated time-based query delays database processing, while broader data access or modification is not demonstrated.
