CVE-2024-10443Network attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via Task Manager command injection

Published Nov 15, 2024 · Updated Sep 16, 2025

OS command injection in Synology Photos and BeePhotos allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through the Task Manager component. Task Manager fails to neutralize special command elements before invoking an OS command, but Synology has not disclosed the input field, endpoint, or code locus. The network path is unauthenticated and requires no user interaction; successful exploitation provides root-level code execution on affected NAS devices.
