An off-by-one error in the transmission component of Synology Replication Service and DSM UC allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The component mishandles a boundary by one position, but Synology has not disclosed the affected function, input field, or memory operation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation can compromise the affected service and broader system.
