Authenticated PHP execution via unrestricted file inclusion
Published Oct 29, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Local file inclusion in WPC Smart Messages for WooCommerce 4.2.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP files. The get_condition_value function uses an attacker-controlled condition value as a PHP include target without restricting the resolved file path. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; arbitrary PHP execution additionally requires an includable PHP-bearing file on the server.
