Authenticated command injection via IPv6 settings
Published Oct 27, 2024 · Updated Oct 28, 2024
Command injection in Wavlink WN530H4, WN530HG4, and WN572HG3 firmware 20221028 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The internet.cgi set_ipv6 function incorporates IPv6OpMode, IPv6IPAddr, IPv6WANIPAddr, or IPv6GWAddr input into a command without neutralizing command syntax. Administrative access is required, and successful injection executes commands with the web interface's privileges.
