Database manipulation via unsanitized project identifier
Published Oct 27, 2024 · Updated Oct 28, 2024
SQL injection in Project Worlds Student Project Allocation System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate its MySQL database. The project-removal handler in /student/project_selection/remove_project.php incorporates the attacker-controlled no parameter into an SQL operation without neutralizing SQL syntax. A valid low-privilege session is required, and the resulting injection permits database reads or changes within the application's database privileges.
