Subscriber-level data modification via unchecked AJAX handlers
Published Apr 10, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in princeahmed WP Radio 3.1.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify plugin data through AJAX. Multiple AJAX handlers process subscriber requests without checking WordPress capabilities, then import stations, remove countries, or write plugin settings. Subscriber access is sufficient; settings changes can store script content that executes when affected pages are viewed, while station and country records can also be altered.
