Authenticated database access via unsanitized reqid query
Published Oct 27, 2024 · Updated Oct 28, 2024
SQL injection in Code Projects Blood Bank Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via reqid. The cancel.php cancellation handler passes reqid into its database query without sanitization, enabling a time-based BENCHMARK expression to act as a blind query oracle. A valid low-privilege session is required; successful queries expose data over time, alter blood-request status, or slow service.
