Authenticated database query manipulation via unneutralized id
Published Oct 27, 2024 · Updated Oct 29, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Hotel Reservation System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries via a crafted id. Room-action handlers in /marimar/admin/mod_room/controller.php process the id argument without neutralizing SQL syntax, allowing it to change the intended database command. Authenticated access to the administrative controller is required, and database effects remain bounded by the application's database-account privileges.
