CVE-2024-10405Network attack vector

Network data disclosure via weak TLS ciphers

Published Feb 14, 2025 · Updated Feb 18, 2025

Weak TLS cipher support in Brocade SANnav before 2.3.1b allows remote attackers to read management data in transit. The TLS listeners on ports 443 and 18082 negotiate weak cipher suites instead of restricting connections to the stronger TLS suites documented for fixed releases. Exploitation requires a network position capable of intercepting the encrypted stream and exposes switch performance, port, zoning, WWN, and IP-address data, but not customer data, personal data, secrets, or passwords.
