Administrative credential disclosure via unredacted supportsave logs
Published Feb 14, 2025 · Updated Feb 14, 2025
Cleartext storage in CalInvocationHandler in Brocade SANnav before 2.3.1b allows local users to read switch secrets from supportsave data. The handler writes SNMP AuthSecret and PrivSecret values without redaction into switch-asset-collectors-mw logs collected by supportsave. Administrative access and collection of a new or existing supportsave are required to expose passwords and other switch secrets.
