Database disclosure via unprepared rating filter query
Published Nov 21, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in Themeum Tutor LMS 2.7.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to read sensitive database data via rating_filter. The unauthenticated load_filtered_instructor AJAX handler passes rating_filter through prepare_instructor_list into get_instructors, where it reaches an insufficiently prepared SQL query. No account or user interaction is required; successful injection can disclose database contents but has no reported write or service-interruption impact.
