Authenticated SQL injection via CDGRenewFileId manipulation
Published Oct 25, 2024 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
SQL injection in CDGRenewApplicationService in ESAFENET CDG 5 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries. The actionViewCDGRenewFile function uses the attacker-controlled CDGRenewFileId argument in a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax. Low-privileged access is required, and successful exploitation can read or modify data available to the application's database account.
