Database compromise via injectable id parameter
Published Oct 25, 2024 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
SQL injection in DecryptApplicationService.java in ESAFENET CDG 5 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database data. The actionPassDecryptApplication1 function incorporates the attacker-controlled id argument into SQL processing without neutralizing syntax that changes the intended query. Low-privileged application access is required, and successful exploitation can read or modify data or interrupt database-backed operations without user interaction.
