Authenticated SQL injection via unneutralized UniqueId
Published Oct 25, 2024 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
SQL injection in CDG 5 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through the UniqueId parameter. AutoSignService.java's actionPassOrNotAutoSign function incorporates the unneutralized UniqueId value into an SQL command. A low-privilege account and network access to the servlet are required; exploitation permits reading or altering CDG-managed data and interrupting database-backed workflows.
